I’ve been thinking a lot about what it means to truly feel powerful in your own skin.

There was a time when I avoided mirrors. Not because I hated what I saw, but because I didn’t recognize her—that woman staring back at me. Somewhere along the way, between life’s demands and becoming a mother to 3 beautiful babies, I’d lost touch with the part of me that felt radiant and untouchable.

But here’s the thing: that power never really went away. It was just hiding, waiting for me to call it back.

I see this so often with the women who step into my studio. They arrive with nervous smiles, apologizing for things they don’t need to apologize for—stretch marks, soft bellies, lines around their eyes. But as the session unfolds, I witness the most beautiful transformation. The way their posture changes, the way their eyes soften, the way they start to see themselves through my lens: powerful, sensual, and deserving of every good thing.
